When should you end a Skyjo round?
End when your position is likely to be the single lowest, not merely when all your cards happen to be visible.
Look around the table. Compare your visible total with opponents' visible cards and number of hidden cards. If you still have several medium or high values, avoid revealing the final hidden card unless the alternatives are worse.
Also: the nerdy view
Ending trades certainty for tempo. You lock your own layout, then give every opponent one final action. Estimate the range of their hidden totals and plausible final-turn improvement.
The penalty is asymmetric: failing to be uniquely lowest doubles a positive ender score. This makes marginal endings much worse than ordinary marginal moves. A tie is not safe.
