Editions compared from the published rulebooks and box contents: player counts, card counts, age guidance and how a round ends. Anything that depends on taste is marked as opinion.
Classic
The original low-score card game. It is the best starting point for most groups and the reference edition used by the main rules and strategy sections.
Action
A more tactical version with a separate action deck, star cards and different row-removal possibilities. It suits players who already enjoy the core idea and want more direct interaction and changing effects.
Junior
A child-focused version with simpler objectives and different scoring. Players aim for the highest score rather than the lowest, so Classic advice must not be carried across automatically.
Voyage
A compact travel edition of the original gameplay. Choose it for portability rather than a different rules system.
The selector
The persistent selector at the top of the site changes rules, scorekeeping, strategy and buying links. Classic is the first-visit default. The preference stays on the device and can be changed at any time.
Which should you buy?
- Choose Classic for the standard experience.
- Choose Action for more effects and interaction.
- Choose Junior for younger children and simplified play.
- Choose Voyage when bag space matters and you want the original game.
