When are cards revealed in Skyjo?
Cards are revealed at setup, after rejecting a blind draw, when replaced, and when the round ends.
During setup
Every player selects two cards to reveal before the first turn.
During a turn
A card placed into the layout is always face up. A hidden card that is replaced becomes visible when it is put on the discard pile. When a blind draw is rejected, one hidden card in the layout is turned face up.
At the end of the round
After the final turns, all hidden cards are revealed for scoring. A newly completed matching vertical column is removed before totals are calculated.
No private peeking
You cannot inspect your own face-down cards simply because they belong to you. Information enters the game only through the permitted reveal and replacement actions.
When cards are revealed
Three moments when a card turns face up: the two revealed during setup, the one revealed after rejecting a drawn card, and everything revealed at the end of the round.
Setup
Each player turns any two of their twelve face up.

Compulsory: it is the price of refusing the card.
End of round
Once the final turns are done, every remaining card is turned over.

Then the hands are counted.
Three moments, and no others. You never turn a card over just to look.
