What happens if the draw pile runs out?
Reshuffle the discard pile to make a new draw pile, leaving its top card visible.
Rebuild the pile
Keep the current top discard face up. Shuffle the remaining discard cards and place them face down as the new draw pile.
Why keep the top card
The visible discard is a live option for the next player. Mixing it into the new draw pile would change the decision already available on the table.
Practical tip
Pause after the current turn has fully finished, including any column removal, then rebuild the pile. This prevents uncertainty about which card was supposed to remain visible.
Edition check
Action uses additional cards and effects. Follow its own rulebook when an action effect changes a pile or card state.
When the draw pile runs out
The discard pile is shuffled to form a new draw pile, with its top card left face up to continue the discard pile.
The draw pile is empty
The discard pile has grown instead.
Keep the top card
It stays face up as the discard pile.
Shuffle the rest
Everything underneath becomes the new face-down draw pile.
The top discard stays face up so there is always a visible card to take.
