What age is Skyjo suitable for?
Classic is officially listed for ages 8 and above.

Children who can add positive and negative numbers and tolerate hidden information often understand the core game. Junior is designed as a separate child-focused edition.
An eight-year-old can add 12, 7 and -2 without stopping the game, which is the real threshold. A younger child can play the same box perfectly well with somebody totalling for them, or you can reach for Junior, which is built for it.
Age recommendations are guidance, not a guarantee that every child will enjoy the same session length.
This answer is for Classic Skyjo unless stated otherwise. Action and Junior may use different mechanics, and Voyage follows the original Classic gameplay.
